The role of the Project Learning Tree workshop leader is to help the participants make their own observations, interpretations, and conclusions about Project Learning Tree, and to assist the group in discovering and realizing the potential Project Learning Tree holds for them.
The Project Learning Tree facilitator is responsible for:
Structuring a positive, hands-on experience that allows each member of the group to participate in the activities, and so far as possible, achieve their reason for being at the workshop.
Modeling the Project Learning Tree philosophy "Awareness to Action" (Awareness - what is Project Learning Tree, and what does it contain? Action - participants make plans for use of Project Learning Tree, then implement it).
Assisting the participants in understanding how they can integrate Project Learning Tree into their teaching.
